Simon Cowell 'didn't expect Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony split'

Lopez and Anthony announced their separation and intention to divorce last week after seven years of marriage.
Cowell, who was replaced by Lopez on American Idol following his departure from the singing competition last year, expressed his surprise in a new interview with Extra.
"I didn't see it coming. They always seemed to get on. They would bicker, but everyone bickers," Cowell said.
It was recently reported that Lopez nearly split from Anthony in 2008 after he allegedly had an affair with an airline stewardess.
The pair plan to continue working together on their upcoming Latin talent show ¡Q'viva! The Chosen alongside Simon Fuller's XIX Entertainment and Big Brother creators Endemol.
