Jessica Alba 'taking time to prepare for baby'

Jessica Alba has said that she is not prepared for the upcoming birth of her second child.

The actress, who announced in February that she and husband Cash Warren are expecting, told US Weekly that she is staying calm and taking things more slowly during her pregnancy.

Alba explained: "The nursery isn't ready. It's not even close, but I'm accumulating things.

"In the beginning the baby stays with me in the room, so you don't need the nursery ready so soon. We're remodeling our house, so it's going to take a few months. I'm really taking my time."

Alba also revealed that she wanted to share her experience of refurbishing old furniture for the nursery on her blog, adding: "I like to buy like old furniture and new furniture and refurbish it. I did that with Honour, so it'd be nice to show it off how I did it."

She recently claimed that she will be unable to lose the weight gained during this pregnancy following giving birth.

Alba and Warren married in 2008 and are already parents to 3-year-old daughter Honour.
