Michael's sister La Toya recently expressed her belief that the popstar was murdered so business associates could take control of his financial interests.
La Toya told Piers Morgan in June: "Michael told me that they were going to murder him. He was afraid. He was afraid for his life. People come into your life, wiggle their way in, control you, manipulate, control your funds, your finances, everything that you have. And you must do what they tell you to"
Katherine has now addressed speculation that Michael was murdered, telling TMZ that she has seen no proof of a conspiracy.
"It is only natural for people who loved Michael, including family members, to be suspicious about the circumstances surrounding Michael's untimely death. So far I have not seen one shred of evidence that anyone associated with Michael's estate conspired to kill him," Katherine said.
She continued: "If such evidence ever comes to my attention I will be the first to bring those facts to light. No-one loved Michael more than I loved him, but no-one should be falsely accused, as Michael was, of a crime they did not commit."
Michael's personal physician Dr Conrad Murray is accused of contributing to the musician's death by administering a lethal dose of propofol and lorazepam. His manslaughter trial is to begin on September 8.
