Holly Valance: 'I never feel pressure to be thin'

Holly Valance has declared that she doesn't feel pressure to lose weight because she considers herself "healthy".

The singer and ex-Neighbours actress, who is currently in Australia promoting her new movie Big Mamma's Boy, explained that she would never want to be a size zero.

Asked if she felt pressure to be thin, she replied to Sydney's Sunday Telegraph: "Never.

"I'm representing real people in stories. I'm not there representing a model, so I don't need to be a size zero.

"Look down the street, no-one is a size zero. I wouldn't call myself curvy. I call myself healthy."

Valance is dating multi-millionaire British property developer Nick Candy, whom she recently described as "goofy".

The 'Kiss Kiss' singer has also revealed that she hopes to "wind down" her US acting career and focus on UK roles, but said that she has ruled out a return to the Australian soap industry.
