The singer-songwriter's funeral will take place in London later today. She was found dead in her Camden home by her bodyguard on Saturday afternoon.
According to The Sun, Winehouse's family will honour her wishes to be cremated. Some of the 27-year-old's ashes will apparently be mixed with Cynthia's, who died from lung cancer in 2006.
The 'Back to Black' star is said to have idolised her singer grandmother, and had had her name tattooed on her arm.
"We all hope Amy can finally find some peace," a family friend told the paper. "The family discussed mixing Amy's ashes with Cynthia's and scattering them together. They were incredibly close, it feels like the right thing to do."
Their ashes will be scattered, while some of Amy's could apparently also be sent to St Lucia, where she had previously spent time following her divorce from Blake Fielder-Civil.
An inquest into her death was opened and adjourned until October 26 yesterday, while early post-mortem results proved inconclusive.
