Kerry Katona has written an open letter to her ex-boyfriend Daniel Foden in response to a story he allegedly sold to a newspaper.

The TV personality used her OK magazine column to hit back at Foden's insistence that he would not want to reunite with her.

"Now Kerry keeps calling and texting me and it's not going down very well with my new girlfriend," he told The Mirror. "I think Kerry is terrified that she won't ever find the love of her life. She's trying to sort her life out but there's always going to be the little devil on her shoulder."

However, Katona dismissed the suggestions as the "the biggest load of bull I've heard", before sharing her "public message" to her ex.

"Dan, considering you don't like the limelight, you're not doing a bad job of milking your five minutes of fame for the six weeks we were together," she wrote. "As for me wanting you back, well if by me returning your phone calls and texts indicates I want you back, then you're very much mistaken - once bitten, twice shy.

"I felt sorry for you after selling the first story as I thought you panicked about all the attention, which is why I remained a mate. For your information Daniel, I will not be returning your texts or phone calls from now on."

Katona continued: "I will not be returning your phone calls for your own sake. If you don't understand the meaning of being a good friend with banter, then I think we're better off not speaking.

"I also hope very much that the text messages you've been sending me go down very well with your new girlfriend. Get over yourself, if you hate the limelight so much, go back under the rock you climbed out from."

She concluded the letter by saying: "Don't contact me any more for your own sake Daniel Foden, get over yourself, you're not all that!"

The 30-year-old, who recently parted company with her management Can Associates, insisted that the couple were "hardly madly in love" after only being together for six weeks. Katona quipped: "I've had trips to the toilet that have lasted longer than him!"

Dismissing another report which suggested a possible reunion with ex-husband Mark Croft, she said: "Believe me, that couldn't be further from the truth, I'm happy being single. Deal with it!"
