Boy George has been sentenced to work in an AIDS hospice for five days for wasting police time.
The star was given the sentence in relation to an incident where police found 13 bags of cocaine in his flat after he had reported a false burglary. Boy George, real name George O' Dowd, pleaded guilty to wasting police time.
He dodged a hefty five and a half year prison sentence in March over the incident. George claimed that the drugs were left there following a party.
George insists he is quite happy with his sentence, saying: "You can choose things so I'm going to work in a hospice which is good."
