Pitt's film commitments prevented him from attending the wax figure's unveiling this week, but a museum spokesperson said that the star will likely visit in the near future.
Sculptor Stéphane Barret used photographs and video clips of Pitt to create a realistic lookalike of the actor.
Models of George Clooney, US President Barack Obama, NBA star Tony Parker and Michael Jackson are also on display at the museum.
The Musée Grévin, which was founded in 1882, houses more than 300 celebrity waxworks in total.
Pitt and partner Angelina Jolie recently denied reports that they plan to marry.
Cogan's Trade, starring Pitt and Sam Rockwell, is scheduled to be released next year.
