Amy Winehouse ex Blake Fielder-Civil 'didn't want to attend funeral'

Amy Winehouse's ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil did not ask to be let out of prison to attend her funeral, his girlfriend has claimed.
It has been reported that Fielder-Civil had been denied compassionate leave by the authorities and that Amy's father Mitch also did not want him to attend.
Fielder-Civil is currently serving a 32-month sentence at Armley Prison in Leeds for burglary and a firearm offence.
His current girlfriend Sarah Aspin told The Sun: "He did not ask to be at Amy's funeral.
"There is no way he would want to be there in handcuffs. He has too much respect for Amy and her family to do that."
Instead it is believed that Fielder-Civil was visited by Aspin and their baby son Jack in prison yesterday.

Winehouse's funeral was attended by family and friends yesterday, including producer Mark Ronson, TV star Kelly Osbourne and singer Bryan Adams.
The 'Back to Black' star was later cremated in Golders Green and a private gathering followed at a nearby synagogue.
It has been suggested that a star-studded memorial concert may be held in Winehouse's honour.
