Gavin Henson 'Bachelor' filming 'annoys rugby teammates'

Gavin Henson reportedly annoyed his rugby teammates by abandoning a training boot camp to film The Bachelor.

Charlotte Church's former fiancé will take on the title role in the upcoming UK version of the dating show. The Channel 5 series will see Henson choose a girlfriend after whittling down 25 contestants while they are living together in a villa in Southern Europe.

The 29-year-old left the Wales team's training camp in Poland with permission from coach Warren Gatland, The Sun reports.

However, his teammates were said to be fuming after Henson, who has taken part in Strictly Come Dancing and 71 Degrees North, sent pictures of himself on a beach.

"The lads couldn't believe it," a source said. "They're stuck there all week getting ten bells knocked out of them morning, noon and night - and Gav's on a beach in the Caribbean with women throwing themselves at him."

They added: "He sent a picture of himself lying on the beach, saying, 'Hope you're enjoying yourselves boys'. What a cheeky b**tard!"

It was recently claimed that Church is "feeling upset and hurt" about Henson's involvement in the dating show.
