Jeremy Piven: 'Entourage finale brings Ari to his knees'

Jeremy Piven has revealed that his Entourage character Ari Gold will face a series of crises in the show's final season.

The 46-year-old actor admitted that he is unsure how fans will react to seeing the arrogant movie agent humbled as Entourage wraps up its run.

"It couldn't have ended better, People love his abrasive nature, and he's brought to his knees," Piven revealed to Rolling Stone. "How people are going to respond to this, I don't know. It'll be very interesting to see. But as an actor, I love playing it."

Piven also fuelled rumours of a possible Entourage movie by hinting that the upcoming series finale leaves some of Ari's problems unresolved.

"We end, and I think it's very satisfying, but Ari is facing a very serious conundrum that could possibly very organically lead to a movie, or not," the star hinted.

Piven's fellow Entourage co-star Emmanuelle Chriqui recently said that filming the HBO series' final season was difficult.

The final season of Entourage airs on Sundays at 10.30pm on HBO in the US and on Mondays at 10.50pm on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
