Chantelle Houghton: 'Katie Price was spiteful to Alex Reid'

Chantelle Houghton has said that she thinks Katie Price is "spiteful" for telling her estranged husband Alex Reid that she never loved him.

The Big Brother star, who is currently dating Reid, insisted that she would never hurt the cage fighter in the same way.

Houghton told Now: "Why say something like that? It's just spiteful. I would never be like that with Alex."

The 27-year-old, who divorced Ordinary Boy Samuel Preston in June 2007, admitted that she would have been "devastated" if the singer had said the same thing to her.

"If Preston had said he never loved me, I'd have been devastated," she commented.

"Obviously Alex did love Katie. You wouldn't marry someone if you didn't love them. It's hurtful. Why say it at all?'"

Houghton recently revealed that she and her new partner Alex Reid do not talk about his ex-wife Katie Price.
