Stephen Merchant: 'Height makes sex tricky'

Stephen Merchant has pondered whether he is too tall for love.

The 6ft 7in Extras funnyman confessed on tonight's edition of Alan Carr's Chatty Man that potential lovers are often put off by his stature.

On the mechanics of love-making, he further jested: "If they're down there and I'm up here, it's a bit tricky... It's lonely."

Merchant was also asked to describe his ideal woman, who he stated must possess an equal measure of brains and beauty.

"I'm looking for a woman with the body of Kelly Brook and the mind of Stephen Fry," the Hall Pass actor joked.

Merchant previously opened up about a close encounter with a nude fan.

"I was sitting down at the time, so I had to make casual chitchat while his c**k and balls were bobbing about in my face," he recalled.
