The Florence + the Machine star, who has nearly finished work on her second album, apparently wants to create an inexpensive collection for the high street store with her stylist Aldene Johnson.
"Florence wants it to reflect her eclectic, quirky style," a source told The Mail on Sunday.
"She has thousands of unique pieces, everything from vintage gowns to garments she's been given by Karl Lagerfeld, and would love to work with Aldene to create a line inspired by her wardrobe, like Kate Moss did."
Topshop created a series of bespoke stage costumes for Welch back in 2009. She has also become a muse for designers such as Lagerfeld and Gucci.
Welch recently revealed that she is planning to wear shaman robes while recording her sophomore album due to her interest in spirituality.
