The X-Men star called the police last month after an intruder broke into her Los Angeles home. The man, identified as Richard Franco, was arrested and formally charged with two counts of felony burglary for breaking into her guesthouse.
Berry was granted a temporary restraining order shortly after the incident, but today a judge awarded her a three-year order that prohibits Franco from coming within 100 yards of the actress and her daughter, The AP reports.
Franco is expected to appear in court on Thursday to answer to the formal charges.
In April, Berry was forced to drop out of her Broadway debut The Mountaintop due to unforeseen 'child-custody issues' with her ex-partner Gabriel Aubry.
She can next be seen in the ensemble film New Year's Eve.
