Jason Statham sells 'bachelor pad' for $2.7m

Jason Statham has sold his Los Angeles home for $2.7 million (£1.65m) in order to move in with girlfriend Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

The Crank actor bought the property in 2005 for $2.4m, and is currently building his new home in the same area, which is reportedly three houses away from where his ex-girlfriend Kelly Brook stayed while living in LA.

Statham's property sold quickly after being put on the market in May. It is a contemporary single-storey post-and-beam home with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The star is said to be wanting to move so that he can share a home that is better suited to Huntington-Whiteley's tastes.

"The house has a very macho feel to it," a real estate source said. "You can image that Jason would have felt comfortable there. The decor is sleek and modern.

"It's an amazing place but Jason wants to move somewhere new that suits Rosie's style as well."

Jason Statham was recently rumoured to be opening up a fish and chip shop with Vinnie Jones in Los Angeles.

He is expected to return to the cast of The Expendables 2 alongside Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis.
