'American Idol' Scott MacIntyre to marry fiancée this month

The longtime couple will wed in front of 200 guests in Scottsdale, Arizona on August 18, MacIntyre has confirmed.
The singer praised Teich as his ideal partner, saying: "Christina is a beautiful person, whom I have known since well before Idol. She is my soul mate."
MacIntyre has composed and recorded all of the ceremony's music and will release the pair's wedding song 'I Wanna Be There' on iTunes.
Following the August 18 nuptials, MacIntyre and Teich will honeymoon in Kauai.
Teich and MacIntyre officially announced their engagement on Twitter in February.
MacIntyre became American Idol's first visually-impaired contestant in 2009, eventually finishing in eighth place.
The musician has released a series of solo albums since leaving American Idol, including the holiday LP Christmas Angel and 2010's Heartstrings.
