Olivia Wilde: 'My dog is my boyfriend'

Olivia Wilde has revealed that she considers her dog to be her boyfriend.

Despite being linked to Jake Gyllenhaal, Justin Timberlake and Bradley Cooper over the past three months, the Cowboys & Aliens star confessed that there is only one man for her.

"Is it sad, that my dog is essentially the man in my life?" Wilde told People.

Wilde went on to insist that her pet actually receives more attention than she does nowadays.

"He's a great dog, but it's funny because ever since I mentioned that he was my boyfriend, he gets way more swag than I ever have," Wilde said. "I mean, truckloads arrive at the house for him. When he hears a car pull up, he just waits, like he knows it's for him!"

The actress, who filed for divorce from former husband Tao Ruspoli in March, recently revealed that she is having trouble with dating, claiming that she does not understand 21st century relationships.

Wilde can be seen next in The Change-Up opposite Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds.

The Change-Up opens on Friday in the US and on September 16 in the UK.
