Katie Price: 'Leandro Penna gave up everything for me'

Katie Price has revealed that her Argentinian boyfriend Leandro Penna has learned enough English to have a "normal conversation".

The former glamour model met Penna at Sir Elton John's Los Angeles Oscar party earlier this year. Despite having no English, Penna moved to the UK to continue his romance with Price.

Price told The Sun: "I've been with him six months and he has English lessons. You can have a normal conversation with him now. But in the beginning it really was a case of 'thank God for Google Translate'."

Despite claims that their relationship won't last, twice-divorced Price insisted otherwise.

"People are yet again saying it won't last. He's absolutely massive in South America - he's been the face of Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dior and a TV presenter on a This Morning kind of show," she said. But I told him if he wants to spend time with me, he's going to have to come to England. So he did and we really started to like each other.

"He was like, 'Look, I want to be with you'. So I said, 'Well, I've got kids and my career as well.' So he made the choice to move to England. He's not doing his presenting any more. He gave it all up for me."

Price continued: "When I split with Alex, I was like, 'That's it. I don't want another man, I just want to enjoy myself.' And then what happens? I go all the way to America, I go to the Oscars and I meet a guy.

"People think I've been with so many men. I think it's because when I break up with someone, they make such a big thing about the next one, that in people's heads it's like, 'Oh look, she's moved to the next one'."
