Elton John, Neil Patrick Harris 'take family holiday'

Elton John and Neil Patrick Harris have taken a joint yachting holiday with their respective partners and children.

John and partner David Furnish played host to Harris and his fiancé David Burtka for the sailing trip which hit the Italian Mediterranean and the South of France, reports People.

John and Furnish's 7-month-old son Zachary also joined the gathering, along with Harris and Burtka's 10-month-old twins Harper and Gideon.

"It took a bit of organisation because they had to come ashore by launch. And that has to be done very carefully with infants," a source told the publication.

The stars are said to have dined in St Tropez and then returned to their boat for additional sailing and sunbathing.

Harris wrote on his Twitter page on Tuesday: "The family and I are having one of the best weeks of our lives."

John and Harris have been longtime friends and have previously vowed to hold play dates for their children.
