Black Eyed Peas Fergie 'relieved to take touring break'

Fergie has said that she's happy to take a career break so that she can concentrate on decorating her home.

The Black Eyed Peas star is pleased that the band are taking a short hiatus so that she can focus on her life with husband Josh Duhamel.

She told Cosmopolitan: "I need more balance in my life. I want to be home more, not in hotel rooms recovering from jet-lag and the chaos of touring.

"I need a break from that. I want to be in my house, decorating!"

The 36-year-old singer hinted that she and Duhamel may start a family soon.

She added: "I'm a huge family person - huge - and yes, Josh and I want to have children, but I am not pregnant!

"But we definitely talk about it. That'll be a whole other chapter of our lives and it's going to be so much fun. We're looking forward to it."

Fergie also admitted that she feels sexiest when she's not made-up.

She commented: "When do I feel sexiest? When I get out of the shower and I feel fresh and my hair is clean.

"I feel very sexy then because I'm so clean and pure and beautiful. I don't feel so sexy when I've just taken an 11-hour flight and I get home and I'm jet-lagged!"
