The 'Back To Black' singer, who had long battled with drug and alcohol problems, allegedly partied in Camden hours after her final public appearance with goddaughter Dionne Bromfield at the iTunes festival last month.
"She didn't want the night to stop," a source told The Mirror. "She fell off the wagon and then some more. Her behaviour is erratic at the best of times but she seemed on a real mission."
The insider further claimed that Winehouse embarked upon a final drinking spree after failing to help a friend break into the music industry.
They said: "She wanted to use her influence to try to open some more doors but she felt she had failed in that respect. It upset her a great deal."
Winehouse has been praised by friends and family since her death for managing to conquer her addictions.
Her father Mitch claimed at a private funeral service for the star last week: "Three years ago, Amy conquered her drug dependency, the doctors said it was impossible but she really did it.
"She was trying hard to deal with her drinking and had just completed three weeks of abstinence."
However, it has since been claimed that the 27-year-old bought £1,200 of crack cocaine and heroin on the night before her death.
