The film director, who was allegedly engaged to the 'Back To Black' singer at the time of her passing on July 23, has been described by a family friend as looking "terrible" at a tribute to the 27-year-old in a London jazz bar last week.
"Everyone was enjoying that evening," the event's organiser Sam Shaker told The Mirror. "It was a celebration of Amy's life but Reg was just sitting in the corner drinking. He feels terrible and is in a really bad way."
In response to concerns about his wellbeing, a source close to Traviss stated: "With the support of both Amy's family and his family, Reg is dealing with his grief. It will take a while but time is a healer."
Shaker also opened up about Winehouse's struggle to maintain her romance with Traviss while still pining for ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently in jail on a burglary charge.
"She wanted to be with Reg but her heart was always a little with Blake. I told her many times not to call Blake but they were always in touch."
Traviss is set to join Winehouse's family on a ten-day memorial trip abroad.
