Liz Hurley jokes about her "evil" Shane Warne regime

Liz Hurley has provided a tongue-in-cheek explanation of the "evil regime" that has led to Shane Warne's recent weight loss.

Earlier this year, the former Australian cricketer shed 10kg as part of a "fitness campaign" before his involvement in this season's Indian Premier League.

Warne previously had to defend Hurley over accusations that his actress girlfriend forced him into his weight loss. The Austin Powers actress has also hit back at reports that Warne has had cosmetic surgery and likes wearing eyeliner.

Hurley has now joked on Twitter: "I've decided to take full responsibility for SW's remarkable weight loss & will be publishing my secret, possibly evil, regime shortly.

"Please buy multiple copies to benefit my retirement fund."

Hurley then sent a light-hearted message to Warne, which read: "@warne888 I'm about to eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich - u may watch me as u slowly spoon up your thin & tasteless gruel.

"Then I'll sit on your back and make you do 200 one armed press ups... And perhaps pin u down and re-tattoo your eyeliner..."
