Susan Sarandon: 'Daughter Eva Amurri's fiancé is fabulous'

Susan Sarandon has described daughter Eva Amurri's fiancé Kyle Martino as "fabulous".

Amurri announced her engagement to Fox Soccer Channel commentator Martino in December 2010.

Sarandon, who recently went on a rafting trip at the Grand Canyon with the couple, told People: "You can't do that if you don't get along. He's fabulous - so much fun. He's the best.

"I couldn't have ordered anything more."

Sarandon also applauded Amurri's ability to keep calm during the wedding planning process, adding: "My daughter has totally got it under control. It's very peaceful so far."

Amurri previously described the time leading up to her ceremony as "wonderful" and praised her parents for not becoming overly involved.

She has said that she will not begin working out until closer to her wedding date.
