Natalie Bassingthwaighte to marry this year

Natalie Bassingthwaighte is getting married this year, it has been reported.

The 35-year-old singer and TV star, who is best known for her roles in Neighbours and So You Think You Can Dance, has reportedly scheduled her wedding to musician Cameron McGlinchey for December 3 in Melbourne.

According to the Herald Sun, the couple's 1-year-old daughter Harper will play a "strategic role" in the ceremony, while Bassingthwaighte is believed to have bought a J'Aton wedding gown similar to the dove grey one she wore at the Logie Awards last year.

McGlinchey and Bassingthwaighte met and got together when they were both in the band Rogue Traders. She announced her pregnancy in February last year and the couple got engaged in July.

Harper was diagnosed with hip dysplasia when she was younger, but has since been given a clean bill of health.

A source has claimed that the couple have decided against an exclusive magazine deal for their wedding photographs.

Bassingthwaighte previously got married to an unidentified man at the age of 23, but they split two years later. She has said of their relationship: "Basically, as soon as we were married it was terrible. It was so disappointing because you obviously think it's forever."
