'Fringe' Michael Cerveris joins Ricky Martin in Broadway's 'Evita'

Cerveris has signed on to play former Argentinean President Juan Perón in Evita, while Elena Roger will portray Juan's wife Eva.
The 50-year-old Cerveris is best known for playing The Observer in
Fringe, but he has also worked extensively in theatre.
He won a Tony Award for his portrayal of Abraham Lincoln's killer John Wilkes Booth in Assassins and has received nominations on four other occasions.
Evita, which was penned by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, premieres at New York City's Marquis Theatre in spring 2012.
Martin recently told Digital Spy that he is looking forward to performing on the Broadway stage in Evita.
