Jackson looking for a place in the UK

Michael Jackson has said that he loves the UK and his British fans so much that he is looking for a place to live over here.

In an interview with The Daily Mirror, Jackson said that he was working on a new album - which will be his first since Invincible.

"I'm here in London on business for a couple of days. I love it here," he was quoted by AFP as saying as he was visiting the offices of Harrods to meet with Mohammed Al Fayed.

"I'm looking for a place to live. I've always liked the UK and I just love the fans here."

Apparently the singer is now both looking for properties in and around the capital, and also for a plot in Scotland or Ireland on which to recreate his Californian funfair-style ranch Neverland.

In March his publicist denied a similar report by a British paper that Jackson was looking for a property in England.
