George Michael has written a song about his coming out in 1998, which he is dedicating to all the female fans who were unaware that he was gay.

'An Easier Affair' reveals a happier side to a difficult time in Michael's life where he was struggling with his sexuality before he came out publicly.

In the song he addresses female fans and ex-lovers who did not know that he was gay.

He sings: "This is one for the ladies/ The ones who love me/ I told myself I was straight/ Now I'm having too much fun dancing with the freaks."
