A source close to Stefani insisted that the singer's top priority right now is completing No Doubt's sixth studio record.
A L.A.M.B. spokesperson confirmed that Stefani will likely not appear at Fashion Week, telling Page Six: "Given the extraordinary demands of working on three fashion lines while also finishing a new record, it is hard to say whether she will be able to attend the actual presentation in New York next month."
No Doubt are apparently very close to wrapping up work on their first new LP in a decade.
The band's previous release Rock Steady hit the US top ten in 2001, spawning the hits 'Hella Good' and 'Underneath It All'.
Stefani recently described No Doubt's songwriting process as "desperate".
