'The View' host Joy Behar weds in New York

The View co-host Joy Behar has married her long-term partner Steve Janowitz in a private ceremony.

The two wed this past Thursday in New York City after almost thirty years as a couple.

"[Joy] was married Thursday night and will talk about it on The View and her HLN show The Joy Behar Show on September 6," a representative for Behar told Access Hollywood. "She is currently on her honeymoon."

The talk show host previously suggested that she would marry Janowitz in March 2009, but later called off the engagement after feeling pressured by the media.

Behar's co-host on The View Sherri Shepherd is also expected to marry this weekend, and recently confirmed plans to have another child.

The View returns with its fifteenth season premiere on September 6.
