The cricketer has allegedly found a passion for botox, moisturisers and juice diets, but Hurley believes his interest in male grooming is out of control, the Sunday Mirror reports.
A friend said: "It's not Elizabeth who has been telling him to diet and look after himself more - it's all down to Shane. Shane's been asking Liz about age-defying procedures like fillers and botox and she's found it all rather bizarre.
"She loves the fact he's dropped some pounds but now it's all getting a little crazy and she's wondering what he's going to do next. He's taking advice on moisturisers and skin peels and researching juicing diets.
"Liz doesn't want to lose the man she's fallen in love with but all the girly chat is getting a little tiresome. Her friends are finding it all highly amusing. Liz is still head over heels about Shane. She just wants him to calm down a little."
Warne has lost over two stone since the pair started dating last year, and is said to be addicted to diet shakes.
Hurley has previously insisted that Warne is all natural, but recently joked on Twitter about the situation.
"I've decided to take full responsibility for SW's remarkable weight loss & will be publishing my secret, possibly evil, regime shortly," she said. "I'll sit on your back and make you do 200 one armed press ups... And perhaps pin u down and re-tattoo your eyeliner. (sic)"
