Gwen Stefani has given birth to a boy with husband Gavin Rossdale by her side.
The parents named the 7.5 pound (3.4kg) baby Kingston James McGregor Rossdale. He was born by Cesarean section at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.
An onlooker who saw the couple arrive on Friday said Stefani was "wearing her signature red lipstick and looked so excited."
The singer met Rossdale, former guitarist in British rock band Bush, in 1995, and married him in September 2002.
