Hilary Duff pregnant with first child: 'I'm extremely happy and ready'

The Lizzie McGuire actress and her hockey player husband Mike Comrie celebrated their first wedding anniversary by announcing their big news on her official website.
"I can't believe it has already been a year, time really flies when you're having fun!" she wrote.
"We also want to share the exciting news that... Baby Makes Three!!! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives."
Duff had repeatedly stressed that she was not ready to have children, though she admitted in August to being "excited" by the prospect of a family.
She was last the subject of pregnancy rumours back in January.
The former Disney Channel star wed Comrie in a private ceremony in Santa Barbara, California after a five-month engagement. They began dating back in 2007.
