Adam Ant has written a song about Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross in support of his friend Georgina Baillie.

Ant had previously helped Baillie reunite with her grandfather Andrew Sachs.

The pair had fallen out following the 'Manuelgate' scandal, when Ross and Brand left lewd messages on Sachs's answerphone which were broadcast on the radio.

Baillie later joined Adam Ant's new band, the Good the Mad and the Lovely Posse, and Ant has now penned a song about Ross and Brand called 'Rubber Medusa', which will feature on a new album next year.

Ant told The Guardian: "I call him the Rubber Medusa because he looks like rubber when he walks, and his hair is crazy. They think it's all over, and that they got off lightly. Well, I've got news for them... they haven't."

The song reportedly features the lyric: "Look up w**ker/ And there's a picture of you."

Asked what he wrote in his letter to Sachs, Ant replied: "I said, 'I've never met you but I'm a big fan of yours, and I'm a friend of Georgie's'. And I told him that Georgie missed him and loved him, and was sorry if she had caused him heartache."

Ballie confirmed: "He called me, and we made up."

She added of the scandal: "I was totally confused. A few days earlier, Russell had called me when I was at a rehearsal and left a message, something about me needing to break into my grandparents' house and destroy their answerphone, but I thought he'd just gone a bit mad again. There had been plenty of weird jokes before... I thought nothing of it.

"It was unbelievably horrible. It was like walking around naked; it was so exposing, so unfair."
