John Mellencamp officially divorces wife

The rocker filed documents in Brown County, Indiana in January 2011 after initially announcing their split a month prior.
Mellencamp and Irwin are said to have reached "an amicable settlement of all issues involving property and maintenance rights, the custody and support of their children, and all other issues", according to People.
They will share custody of their two sons, 17-year-old Hud and 16-year-old Speck, with Mellencamp expected to pay child support as well as educational fees for the teens.
The pair married on September 5, 1992. The marriage was Mellencamp's third.
Mellencamp is currently believed to be dating actress Meg Ryan. The pair were first linked earlier this year.
