Kate Gosselin: "I'm glad to be divorced"

Kate Gosselin has said that she does not regret her decision to get divorced.

In a clip from her reality series, the Kate Plus 8 star revealed that she is perfectly content to be a single mother.

Gosselin said: "I know that I'm glad to be divorced and on my own.

"I wouldn't change my marriage because I have eight awesome kids that I would not change," she continued. "But people change and they're not who you thought they were and if they're not for you, move on. And I have."

Gosselin was married to her husband Jon until 2009, when the couple endured a very public break-up.

"I don't care if his girlfriends change weekly, yearly, monthly," the reality star said of her ex-husband. "I don't give it a second thought."

Gosselin's reality series Kate Plus 8 was cancelled by TLC earlier today. Its final episode will air on September 12.

She has said that she is "choosing to the see the positive" in the cancellation.

A new episode of Kate Plus 8 airs tonight at 9pm on TLC.
