Danny DeVito receives Hollywood Walk of Fame star

Danny DeVito has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor was given the 2,445th star on Hollywood's illustrious walkway on Thursday.

DeVito was joined at the ceremony by his wife Rhea Perlman and their three children, 28-year-old Lucy, 26-year-old Grace and 23-year-old Jacob.

Fellow It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia co-stars Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney were also in attendance.

Batman Returns star DeVito joked that he'll take very good care of the monument.

He quipped: "The question is, do I get to take this home or do we leave it here? Or do I move into this store over here, and every day I come and polish it?"

The Hollywood Walk of Fame Selection Committee has announced that Jennifer Lopez, Kate Winslet and Jennifer Aniston will all receive commemorative stars in 2012.

Modern Family's Ed O'Neill recently suggested that he'll receive a Hollywood star later this month, but a Walk of Fame rep wouldn't confirm his selection.
