Josh Homme, Brody Dalle welcome son named Orrin Ryder

Rock 'n' roll couple Josh Homme and Brody Dalle welcomed their second child yesterday.

Dalle tweeted the news that she gave birth to a son named Orrin Ryder on Friday.

"We got us a very handsome red-headed baby boy - Orrin Ryder Homme born on Friday the 12th of August, 7lbs 12oz," Dalle tweeted. "Weez totes in love. (sic)"

The couple married back in 2007 and are already parents to 5-year-old Camille Harley Joan.

Dalle is best known for fronting punk rock band The Distillers between 1998 and 2004, and currently records with her solo project Spinnerette.

Homme is the frontman and main songwriter for rock band Queens of the Stone Age, but is also part of several side projects including Them Crooked Vultures with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.

Homme recently claimed that the sixth Queens of the Stone Age album would be finished by the end of the year.
