The hip-hop mogul's car was impounded in Beverly Hills last February after LAPD officers found he had been driving with a suspended licence.
Knight recently entered a no contest plea to the offence and was ordered by a judge to serve 36 months of unsupervised probation, BET reports.
The producer has had numerous run-ins with the law in recent years, including a May 2010 arrest for assault with a deadly weapon.
In December 2010, Knight was cited by Los Angeles police when they discovered he had an outstanding warrant for a traffic violation.
Knight is perhaps best known for helping to launch the careers of Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg on his Death Row Records label.
