Kathie Lee Gifford and E! News's chief correspondent Ken Baker spoke about the ceremony in Montecito, California during an appearance on NBC's Today this morning.
More than 400 guests attended the nuptials at a private estate on Saturday.
Gifford told Ann Curry: "What struck me was that we expected the glamour and everything from the Kardashians but the ceremony itself was one of the most spiritual I've ever been to."
The Today host went on to say that Humphries' family pastor presided over the ceremony and used the occasion to speak about "all the words in the Bible for love".

Baker agreed that the pastor had been "very realistic", saying: "[The pastor] said, 'Look guys, if you don't work at it you could have a very mediocre marriage very quickly'. Everyone was like, 'Wow, I can't believe he said that!'
"It was very fairytale-esque but it was also a dose of reality, which is appropriate enough considering reality cameras were shooting!"
Gifford added: "He was very grounded about, 'This may be good for now but it's a real commitment of your time to make a marriage work'."
Other guests at the lavish nuptials included Eva Longoria, Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough, Demi Lovato, Lindsay Lohan and Vera Wang, who designed Kardashian's hand-made ivory wedding gown.
E! will air the wedding as a two-part special called Kim's Fairy Tale Wedding on October 9 and 10 on E! in the US and October 16 and 17 on E! in the UK.
