Monkeys' new bassist breaks his hand
The Arctic Monkeys' new bassist, Nick O'Malley, has broken his hand just days after joining the band on tour.

As previously reported, O’Malley replaced Andy Nicholson who pulled out of the US tour due to exhaustion.

However, on the way home from the pub last week O'Malley apparently got into some drunken antics and ended up breaking his right hand.

His fellow Dodgems bandmate Phil Goodwin said: "As we walking home form the pub, our roadie grabbed [O'Malley] and pulled him over our neighbour's wall.

"It's quite high and he landed on his right hand. It is his plectrum hand and he has a pot on it - but he says he can still hold a plectrum."

Fortunately, O’Malley will still play with the Arctic Monkeys in America.
