The couple tied the knot on Saturday at a lavish ceremony in Montecito, California. However, the groom's family reportedly found the event to be over the top.
"[The Humphries] mostly looked appalled by the entire thing," an insider told Us Weekly.
Nevertheless, the source went on to note that the groom's family "cheered when Kim and Kris were pronounced husband and wife".
The wedding, which featured a Swarovski-crystal cross at the altar, is said to have been "100% Kardashian."
"There were rhinestones up the wazoo!" one guest said. Another guest added: "It was so hard to take it all seriously."
Kardashian said that she "couldn't be happier" after marrying Kris Humphries over the weekend, describing the event as "magical" in a recent post on her official website.
Earlier this week, an insider claimed that the wedding was "awkward", saying that the numerous crew members from E! that were present to film the wedding for a two-part special due to air in October made the marriage difficult to watch.
