'The Talk' Sara Gilbert splits from girlfriend

Sara Gilbert and long-term partner Allison Adler have announced their split.

The Talk co-host and former Roseanne actress, who came out as a lesbian in July 2010, ended her ten-year relationship with Adler this week, reports People.

Gilbert's rep confirmed the split, adding: "It's completely amicable."

The pair will reportedly share custody of their two children, 6-year-old son Levi and 4-year-old daughter Sawyer.

CBS renewed The Talk for a second season earlier this year.

It was recently reported that co-host Sharon Osbourne will temporarily exit the chatshow in order to spend more time with husband Ozzy.
