Kylie Speers, 'Bondi Vet's Chris Brown "just friends"

Kylie Speers has hit back at reports that she is dating Dr Chris Brown.

The Australian entertainment reporter, who used to date actor Tom Williams, was rumoured to have been on a string of dates with Bondi Vet star Brown, but reportedly wanted to keep their romance quiet.

Speers has now told The Daily Telegraph: "[Chris] is just a friend, we've known each other a long time." Brown is also believed to be the vet for Speers's Newfoundland dog Rowdy.

Shortly after splitting from Williams last year, Speers said: "We care for each other deeply but have been unable to make things work for us right now. We have decided to have a break but remain very close and the best of friends."

Brown also reportedly split from Packed to the Rafters actress Zoe Ventoura last year. although she had described him as a "very supportive" boyfriend shortly before.

Ventoura is now rumoured to be dating Dancing with the Stars host and former Neighbours star Daniel MacPherson. Ironically, MacPherson's ex-girlfriend Kristi Townley was romantically linked to Williams late last year.
