Shane Warne's brother joins plastic surgery debate

Shane Warne's brother Jason has denied reports that his older sibling has had had cosmetic surgery.

The Australian cricketer, who is rumoured to be engaged to model and actress Elizabeth Hurley, has been the subject of public speculation that he has had a facelift or Botox injections since last year.

Jason told Triple M radio that all the rumours are rubbish, saying: "I can confirm he has not had any plastic surgery."

He did, however, refuse to comment on the reports that Shane and Hurley are now engaged, saying only: "The good thing is that I don't manage Shane anymore... so I'll leave that one to his management."

Earlier this year, Shane insisted that his youthful look is purely due to "fitness and being healthy", adding that "questions re facelift [and] Botox are absolute rubbish". He also admitted that his look has changed since he shed 10kg.

More recently, he accused the media of deliberately "distorting" images of him to make him look more fake. "It's a disgrace," he wrote on his Twitter page. "So my crime is that I'm fitter, healthier and happier than at any stage of my life.

"I have and never will let certain sections of the media who distort pics and stories get to me. I'm in a great place."
