Miranda Cosgrove recovering from surgery after bus crash injuries

The iCarly actress suffered a broken ankle when her bus collided with a tractor trailer. Cosgrove's mother and her bus driver were also hurt in the crash.
Cosgrove was forced to cancel her remaining 'Dancing Crazy Tour' shows and return to Los Angeles to recuperate.
The 'Kissin U' singer has now updated fans on her condition, writing on Twitter that she underwent a "successful" operation this week.
She tweeted: "Been in the hospital for the last few days. I had a successful surgery. I'm so happy to be heading home."
Cosgrove later thanked her friends and family for their support as she begins her recovery.
The 18-year-old popstar tweeted: "My house was like a flower garden when I got home. Thanks to all my friends and thanks all of u for all your messages."
Cosgrove recently admitted that being involved in a violent collision was "extremely scary".
