The Salt actress has denied rumours that she and Pitt are organising a "secret wedding", and has also revealed that the couple aren't going to adopt any more children in the near future.
"I'm not pregnant. I'm not adopting at the moment," Jolie told Vanity Fair.
Jolie is currently prepping her directorial debut In the Land of Blood and Honey, a love story set against the violence of The Bosnian War.
The first-time filmmaker said that Pitt was incredibly "supportive" during In the Land of Blood and Honey's often stressful production.
"He'd come in and say what he liked or what he didn't understand. Like any woman, I would listen to most of it and fight a few things," Jolie said. "He's been so supportive. But it's hard to separate the person that loves you from the critic, so I don't think he's a fair judge."
The actress recently claimed that her and Pitt's household has "calmed down" since their children have grown older.
In the Land of Blood and Honey opens on December 23 in US cinemas.
