Leslie Grantham stays at £15-a-night B&B

Leslie Grantham has been staying at a £15-per-night Blackpool guest house.

The former EastEnders actor, who played Dirty Den Watts on the soap, joined guests for English breakfasts each morning and spent time in the TV room.

A fellow guest told The People, "It was a real shock to see him when we checked in. The place only costs £15 a night and you'd think somebody who must have a bit of money in the bank would stay somewhere a little bit more refined.

"The facilities are pretty basic - there's nothing flash about the place at all. Leslie used to be one of the biggest names on TV so you don't expect to see him in a little B&B. There are lots of bigger hotels in the town and it's a bit of a surprise he didn't stay in one of them. I don't know if he was being careful with his money but he seemed right at home there and was happily chatting away to all the staff."
