Peter Andre 'to make one-off Ghost musical appearance'

Peter Andre will reportedly take over the role of Sam Wheat in Ghost: The Musical for a special one-off performance.

Former Coronation Street actor Richard Fleeshman currently plays the part in the West End production, which premiered in Manchester earlier this year.

Following the story of the film, which starred the late Patrick Swayze alongside Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg, the musical sees a murdered Sam use psychic Oda Mae Brown to remain in contact with girlfriend Molly.

Andre, whose most recent single release 'Perfect Night' reached number 48 in the UK chart, will step into the role for charity, The Sun reports.

The 38-year-old's one-off appearance will apparently be filmed as a special segment for the BBC's Children In Need telethon in November.

It was recently confirmed that Ghost will open on Broadway next year, with previews scheduled to begin in New York City in March.
